Hi guys,
so i am writing a practice essay for the hamlet module ( non assesable) and am struggling -sigh. what is your take on the following essay question, where should i begin ?

" To what extent has your personal response to 'Hamlet' been shaped by the enduring power of Shakespeare's characterization of Hamlet? Support your evaluation with close analysis of TWO key extracts from Hamlet."

I dont know what to do.. where to start and how to approach this !

start by writing hamlet is a 400 year old text that has survived the barriers over centuries.. blah blah blah and then start answering the question about YOUR interpretation about the characterisation
