Probability by far. It is improbable that i will get marks for it in the HSC

In order of difficulty and hate (for the first two :p)!

1. Harder Binomials (like question 6+ in the HSC)
2. Deathly Perms and Combs (the super hard ones)
3. Projectile Motion is difficult, but fun.

indicate projectile motion and to a lesser degree binomial identities
This. If the exam didn't have them my marks would have shot up dramatically.

Projectiiiiiiiile moooooooooooootion :(
projectiles are way too easy, i most papers they give you 2 marks for deriving the x and y positions, what could be easier than that??

then find the max height or range, another easy 2 marks.

Well, I'm only in prelim.

Sigh, I say circles. My teacher says Parametric Representation of the Parabola should be the hardest prelim ex1 topic, but I do it with ease. Circles still gets to me, ugh ! In my exam, I lost 3 marks for not writing the complete rule. I just wrote "Alternate Segment Theorem". So pissed of @ circles.

Oh well.
parametrics is a joke, its all 2 unit theory you just get introduced to the "parameter"

Its just like projectiles, just remembering how do derive formulas, and all you need is gradient formula and point gradient line formula (all 2 unit co ordinate geo stuff)

well i dropped extension maths (yay!) but before i left id say that the hardest topics were
applications of calculus like simple harmonic motion + projectile motion
and
permutations and combinations.

but in saying that i didnt exactly finish the whole course before i left. i think i missed out on inverse trig or something :|

Permutations and Combinations definately.

I used to despise circles..but once you practice, practice and practice you start to get the hand of them.

As for 4 unit circles

Circles, motion, binomial, parametrics, inverse functions, probability, curve sketching, exponential growth and decay. Everything else is great.

i would say projectile motion since they ask very random trig questions for example try 2000 q7

you have only mentioned every topic there.

exponential growth and decay is the easiest topic ever, if u cnt do them you should drop 3 unit all together

I don't like binomial theorem. Projectile motion is interesting but difficult.

I enjoy circle geometry though.

i reckon perms and comb's, just because it's so simple to miss one little factor, and then you get no marks.
parametrics is tricky occasionally, and motion is something i haven't done much work on, so i still find it a tad challenging!
