I'd rather have 500 pages of good stuff than 700 pages of crap, though.

Guys, that's the US version. Our text is smaller and has fewer pictures. Hence we can expect closer to 700.

But there's no way I'm complaining, I'll bet I won't even want it to end once I get my hands on a copy :(
I know !!!! me too !!! ........Im thinking about that already, i dont want it to end once i get my hands on a copy. Thats what happend when i was reading half blood prince, i was so gloomy when i finshed reading it :(

According to bloomsbury.com, the Deathly Hallows audiobook will be released simultaneously with the book? Hmmm that means Stephen Fry gets to know what happens ages before the rest of us haha

Yeah, but we all know she won't be feeding us crap no matter how long this book is. :)

Aww, F**K. I never want Harry Potter to end. NEVER, you understand me? N-E-V-E-R
*cry in corner*

Even if she writes other books it won't be Harry Potter.

apparently she's gonna write some encyclopedia on the magical world, like history, traditions, etc. but yeah, life does kinda feel empty for a while when u're finished with a harry potter book.

For the first time, there's a cover that I don't like. The best was Half-Blood Prince, followed by Goblet of Fire, but Deathly Hallows is simply too busy. Also, the expressions on the characters' faces look stupid.

It's all the gold and stuf they're on that kills it. There's just too much going on in too small a space. If they did a wraparound one with Harry on the front and Voldemort on the back, it would look much better.

But since we're stuck with this one, one thing's bugging me: what's that on the back cover?

Probably. The only one I've seen is a very small image and I have a few problems with colours ... but so much for the whole "I won't be going back" statement from Harry is it is the school on the back.
