So, I do know that a lot of threads have been posted about this but none too recent.
Basically I'm doing AST and am year 11 but I have done so badly this semester. I might as well have completely failed. The universities I'd like to attend require ATAR's between 80 and 90 at least and it's making me so stressed. I want to know if it's still possible to achieve a really high score or if I've missed the boat. Has anyone been in a similar position? Especially whilst doing AST not HSC? Thanks :(

Sorry im not familiar with what happens in the ACT but do your results in Year 11 count towards anything?

It's only over when you give up. If you have the grit to really push yourself and make up for it, you will succeed.

Transferring after completing a year at another University is also a possible option to keep in mind if you do not reach your desired ATAR.

The problem is I want to go to a uni in Sydney which needs quite high ATAR's to be accepted into the courses I'm after. And I think it would be too much of a hassle to start uni in my state then moving for the second year. I have considered this option however. Thank you for your input!
