Already told them before I posted this thread. So she knows how I feel. Nothing's changed but I don't/can't move on, at least not yet. I'd feel guilty if I did. I've held it in for months to make sure so I didn't tell her lightly. That's why I've been mild to every other girl. The idea of casual flings doesn't appeal to me. Am I taking relationships too seriously?

I used to wait or try to change myself for them, now I know better, I'm proud and I've been through too much too feel insecure. Now I just think to myself that they've given their best shots at me and they've missed badly. Currently I like someone and they know it...and we've worked it out - we're just too different in our lifestyles and he doesn't know me too well anyway. It's better than telling me straight out that he doesn't feel anything. I try not to think about how romantic he is or how lucky other girls will be...I've had two consecutive crushes with the same name...and the current one has a middle name I also like...I force myself to move on, yes, I've got someone else now...but sometimes the fantasies and dreams etc serve as inspirations to poetry/song lyrics, so it's okay to still love them, provided that it doesn't get out of hand - I hadn't written one for quite a while, 'cos I just ran out of inspiration for the previous guy...and this one's my latest - on the last night of autumn.
