I was talking to a girl in my maths ext. class and I think she said she was doing 15 units or so. She does saturday school also so yeah. She said that in vn, she had to do like a minimum of 7 or 8 subjects or something. So yeah, it shouldn't be a problem for some I guess and it will allow them to have tonnes of backup units.

stupid stupid very fucking stupid.

absolutely no point doing over 13 really, 1 back up is fine and for the extra extension.

but hey it's their time they're wasting.

well ya dont have to do all ur units in 1 year...
but having too many units can get rly hectic...
so you mite as well focus and do well in a couple of units rather than do heaps and average in them all

theres nothing wrong with doing so many units, just at least you can handle the workload.

Define heaps. I have a friend doing 14, but that's because she picked up MX2 and didn't know what she wanted to drop. But she'll probably drop Chemistry like the true hero she is, so it all evens out eh

im in a similar situation. I have to drop either engineering or IPT.

people have their reasons for doing more than 13 units, sometimes it's better to have more options.

As of Thursday I will have completed 6 units, 4 of them this year.

As of November 2009 I will have completed most likely 14 units.

Acceleration FTW!

I did 16 units in year 11
its doable but you dont focus as much as you should on each subject and you have like no free periods and it often includes classes outside the normal school hours this year im taking a way more acceptable 10 units (loving triple frees in the mornings)
