Heavily scaled subjects (1 Viewer)

Is it possible to get 99's in the following subjects considering all have recieved band 6's.

2u Standard English
2u General Maths
2u I.P.T
2u Modern History
2u Business Studies

In standard english if not band 6, then top 99 percentile.

I'd be inclined to say no to 99's, definitely possible to 90's but who knows. The HSC is a bitch.

Erm yes it is possible to get over 99...even 99.5...I just played around with lazseeker with these marks:
English Std - 87
General Maths - 95
IPT - 93
Mod. Hist - 95
Business = 94
and got a UAI of 99.5

to sum up, its possible, but not really probable (unless u are close to top percentiles in each)

yes u can easily get 99 by being in the top percentiles for each subject
lazseeker was the old version of UAI seeker, I still have a copy and is accurate for 2001 results.

remember, u can get a 100 UAI with any combination of subjects, it just depends how well you do - in some subjects u'll have to do much better in it than other subjects

i resent that comment about general maths. it did not scale so badly after all last year considering that only 2.9% of students got a band 6 and almost 18% got a band 6 for advanced. as minai said you can get a uai of 100 with any combination of subjects. if you do well enuf you can get any mark you want.

minai's right - if you beat everyone in the state with your subjects, there shouldnt be any problems with a high UAI

if u did the worst scaling subjects of all
how unrealistic is it
to do so well in everysubject
enough to get u in 100
all im saying is
if ur subjects scale bad
its hard
i wouldnt know about 99 im just guessing major
i have no idea about htese things

This guy is right , its all about doing well and high scalling is just an super extra bonus!!!
