I'm sorry but you are basing your idea on what you think is correct. Unless you are referring to CS BETA 1 up around BETA 6, then yes Cables are better off.

After BETA 6 or somewhere near that it was decided that 56kers needed some kind of way to compensate for their poor ping.

And a solution was implemented, it's to do with packets being sent and received. I am not telling how you can further exploit this, i'd say its cheating but can be done within the console without any third party programs installed.

In brief it makes it feel like the 56kers see their enemies slightly earlier than they see you and thus compensate for their slowness.

In terms of speed i.e. changing weapons/selecting things yes 56k is slower and will always remain that way. in terms of killing others, if used correctly or exploited, you can turn 56kers into a killing machine (not telling you though).

u have to press "F5" in game to take a screenshot... and look around the steam folder.. it should be there...

though u can go there and download COGS where u can access all servers easier..... though its better for Telstra users... an advantage for us...

RageRunner the advantages of interping were taken out in 1.6 ... and Cablers can terp more efficiently as they can increase ther updaterate so things dont like like a slide show if thats what you r talking about... 56k sux all round for everything.. u cant even burst properly on it.. the recoil is insane.

I know 1.6 they took out interp or well limited it to 0.5 but there's something else

I added them.
OGN 1 has CD (which i d/l -and i think i installed it- but how do you hook it up to CS? I always get booted from the CD servers).

OGN 2 is password protected.

yeah i played css with friends the other day and i literally "automatically pointed at someones head" ...
i shocked the fuck outta my friend the other day when i shot him in the head with a deagle when he came out of the de_aztec tunnel (connects to other tunnel via bridge) in less than a second. the feeling of fps_doug ran through me

i used to play it for 6-7 years. Here are your basic commands. I forgot most of them but some are:

hud_fastswitch 1 [switch guns ]
hud_centerid 1 or 0 cant remember [the name of opposition comes in the middle]
cl_sidespeed 9999
cl_backspeed 9999
cl_forwardspeed 9999
makes u run diagonal
sensitivty "5" type ur number in.. higher the more sensitive the mouse is
name "type ur name here"

mp_freezetime 0 [ when u spawn u can move right away]


There are some advanced ones but those are a secret

if u play 1.5 use the awp and a grenade
use quickswitch and it makes the awp silenced
