2. i want to study this course early, where can you get notes?

3. is it hard to get 70k + starting salary and good job prospects unless you major in financial mathematics?

1. Hard to answer this question properly. They are both equal because the employment prospects are not based on what University you went to.

2. You can visit the bookstore of the relevant Uni, which will sell course notes and/or relevant textbooks.

3. That's quite a sizeable starting salary. So I will say yes. This is assuming a major in financial mathematics will 'guarantee' you a job in the field, which is most certainly NOT the case.

4. Necessary for what? For getting a job? No. But it will help stand you out.
