help before i off myself (2 Viewers)

im currently in year 11 adv preparing for yearlys.. ive written my essays and idk if i should memorise them and mold them to the question.. so far ive been trying to memorise.. and im literally on the first sentence but i swear it took me like 1 HOUR TO MEMORISE... so idk how im going to memorise 3 fucking essays.. some of my classmates say they memorise a paragraph in the span of 20 minutes.. and thinking about how many essays i have to- a creative, a critical x2 to memorise.. ITS SO FUCKIGN MUCH

does anyone have tips on how to memorise or what works for them - bc right now ive been reading the paragraphs and saying it off of memory.. i tried writing it out too but idk if its effective.. and its taking me so long and i feel like it isnt sticking w me either

and some of my classmates say they "just memorise analysis" but in a way thats memorising as well...

lol the titles for these threads on this forum are so dramatic. u must have taken inspiration from Jane's one lol. but valid tho. I feel like memorising sentences word for word don't work for me so I just remember key words and ideas and leave it at that cause there's no point of memorising word for word when the question's gonna be different. try writing it 10000 times until it gets in ur head and break it down into small chunks until u remember it all

just do read, cover, recite, write

Stop crying so much hun. Your gonna forget about all this in 4 weeks. It's year 11. This isn't the HSC or anything.
