What does the terms Standardised and Customised approach mean in relation to global marketing? give examples

Basically, standardised marketing is keeping the marketing mix the same in all countries, while customised marketing is changing the marketing mix for different countries. For example, McDonalds have to customise their marketing mix for countries such as India because people there don't eat beef since cows are sacred. Then there is Apple which uses a standardised approach. All its products are exactly the same in every country.
