A radar station tracks a jet fighter flying with constant speed. if radar station is considered to be at the origin. The fighter's starting position is 2i _8j+k and 1 minute later it is at 8i - 4j + 13k. The units are in kilometres.

Find the point along the path where the path where the fighter is closest to the station?
How fast is the plane rising or falling?


At the moment these are found.
The vector of the path of fighter: 6i-12j+12k
and unit vector 1i/3 -2j/3+2k/3.
The speed of plane is 1080/hr
