i wanna get some car body kits installed , alloys, sound systems, turbos maybe, exhausts - i wanna do up a hyundau getz cause i havnt seen one done up sofar = )

anyone know any places that do these things?

plus its all i can afford, and.....getz has 6L/100km which is excellent wen i travel to work at bankstown from castle hill every day hahhaa

man dont do it it will waste your money, just buy a decent car and keep it clean and get the system in it...

believe me you will spend thousands on it doing it up...and when you try and re sale it no one will offer you any thing....

Your nuts. putting a turbo in a gets is stupid and a waste of money.

You sound like you don't know how much this stuff costs so let me break it down for you.

rims 17-18" = 2 grand there
bodykit (painted and fitted) = 2 grand there (goodluck finding one for a getz)
Exhaust = 400ish there
Lowering = 400 there
Turbo = 2+ grand there
Sound system = 2 grand there (For a QUALITY sound system if you know what your doing, i know this because i'm doing up my sound system atm).

etc.

Putting all this into a getz is a serious waste of cash, not to mention .... it's a getz dude ! thats just shame. Atleast my lancers riceable lol, not that i've done much to it in the first place.

But like i said :

a) serious waste of cash
b) won't get anywhere near what your paying for the mods when you sell it
c) It's a GETZ ! it's going to be shame.
d) don't do it !

Spend this cash on getting a better car, go second hand and get a supra, lol thats what i'd do anyway !

not really, it'd have to be the "noob of all noobs" part of the competition... if u go to a good sound-off you'll probably see systems worth easily ten times that much

but it all depends on what you're after... my subs and amp costed over $600 plus all the wiring

1200watt amp
2 12inch subs in a carpeted box
some ok 6 by nines
and a ok head unit
and get it installed


for $2000 you would be looking at a custom install with neons and ricey shit like that
