Hey my brother is stuck on the following

1) Explain under what circumstances a law would considered to be just

and

2) Analyse the importance of laws being a reflection of the values and ethics of the society for which they are made

and

3) Assess the importance of the ruleof law in the effective functioning of society

Just tell him how to start off and what to talk about or just help him

1. Explain - relate cause and effect
Under what conditions would a law be considered morally right and fair? E.g. Anti-discrimination laws protect individuals

2. Analyse - identify components and the relationship between them.
You need to answer: Why are the values and ethnics of society in reflecting laws? For example, it by reflecting values/ethnics it prevents discriminatory laws made against a particular race. And expand with further ideas

3. Assess - make a judgement of value, quality, outcomes, results or size.
Rule of Law means that every has to abide by the law. Therefore it prevents an abuse of power and also equal rights for all individuals, meaning it it a "fair" principle for all individuals in society.
