Help needed regarding The Great Gatsby and changing self (1 Viewer)

Can someone please help me?

We are reading the novel The Great Gatsby and we must find material relating to the novel so we can right an essay. It must be about changing self but in a way that i am able to link it to the novel

I have been searching for ages without any luck. If anyone has any suggestions on a text to use it would be greatly appreciated. (preferably a poem )
