ON Skrzynecki's poems, st patricks college,
migrant hostel.

write in essay format the following q.
Acceptance of oneself, ones past and ones future is essential in a search for belonging.

discuss how skrzyneckis 2 poems explores the complexity of belonging. refer to atleast 1 other txt of ur own choice.

i dnt want any1 to do the assesment 4 me just some help.
my related txt is my place by sally morgan. and c in the q it says atleast 1 related txt, would it be better if i did 2?

all of skyrzfag's poems explore his past culture that he is relunctant to embrace, his future in australia and how he clearly is not secure about himself.

Yes, it would be better to use two related texts. Make sure you have a thesis (you do need one for that question).

My thoughts on the essay question and the concepts:

The search for belonging is essentially the attempt to locate oneself within the world.

To locate, to find where we belong, we must "triangulate" ourselves with respect to who we are (presently), where we come from (the past) and where we wish to go (future).

By accepting one's self, one's past and one's future, we acknowledge and make firm these "reference points" from which we can locate who we are - and ultimately find some sense of belonging.

oh sorry aerath im not excatly sure how to use a thesis? could u explain please?
