hiee, im thinking of career prospercts for finance students, i have only a pass average, what kind of places or companies hire new graduates with just a pass?
Where is a good place to start? All i hear about are the few that go to do summer grad positions and then get the job, what about the others :s

It'd be easier to answer this if we knew where you eventually want to end up and also what sort of work you think you'd enjoy.

If I were you I'd try:
- Government positions: eg Australian Tax Office
- Smaller accounting firms
- Smaller marketing/advertising firms

Thanks for that so glad to hear there is a way, just don't know where to start! im sure there are heaps of people in the same situation, besides being jobless where are they!!

Just like to add to this. Marks do not matter if you can compensate in some other area provided you aren't looking to be a banker, trader, or something else highly competitive. I've worked with a few people with quite low marks, but they know their shit. So yeh it is possible, but don't get out of your league, because for the top jobs, marks do matter.
