okay soo where do i star?

in year 7 i was the bomb i was the nerdiest black kid on the planet.
then peer pressure got to me and i started doing weed and etc. and my grades plummeted like a fighter jet going down.
now im in year 10 and my grades a horrible. keep in mind i don't study and hardly pay attention in class. i am a peoples person so my whole maths class ( and all other main subjects) get terrible marks only 3 or 4 people pass out of the whole class. Yes i know you are probably thinking what MORONS! Funny thing is that my class is the highest class of math in Year 10 in the school. What i can also tell you is that we all have potential including me to get at 95%+ but none of us study except for 1 or 2.
now to back to the core of the this whole post.
i am choosing subjects next year and i have absolutely no idea what to choose.
i want to be become the first black person to actually get into medicine and eventually become a doctor in my whole family.
i will be in year 11 next year.
and i need to basicly make my decision in a week.
the options are:
CHEMISTRY
PHYSICS
GENERAL MATH or 2U MATHS or 3 UNIT MATHS (with extension)
MUSIC
DRAMA
ENGLISH STANDARD, Advanced or 3 unit
BIOLOGY
LEGAL STUDIES
ANCIENT/MODERN HISTORY
INDUSTRIAL TECH: WOOD AND GRAPHICS
IT
HOSPITALITY
ECONOMICS
AGRICULTURE
VISUAL ART
ENGINEERING STUDIES
PDHPE


that i need to choose 6 subjects and some of them can't be together because they will be running the same time.

i need help and i made an oath that next year i will definitely get back to studying and achieving for a high ATAR.

AND SCALING I REALLY NEED TO KNOW HOW THIS SCALING SHIT WORKS!



help me please and if i cant make it as a doc. i want to keep my options open to other courses in UNIVERSITY so help me out peeps.

tell me about the good and bad in every subject.


OHH and im new to this site soo i might screw up a lil things.

In an ideal world: Chemistry, Physics, Biology, 3U maths, Adv English, Economics.
But it's up to you. However, if you are failing year 10 maths - gl with extension next year.

ahhh thank you finally a decent answer.

i cant do bio and physics. they are running at the same time?
which one? is more important. or knowledgeable?

It's all personal preference.

You should really be doing the subjects which interest you...After all, I nor anyone else on the internet will be studying them for the next 2 years.

but you seem like you have done them or have some experience in them?
im only in year 10 and i dont want to choose terrible subjects and be stuck with them.
can you please tell me the benefits and down side for them? thank you

I would cut the hint-of attitude.

Physics scales better. I like biology.

You can change subjects near the beginning if you're not happy with them

okay so to do medicine you need to do biology and chemistry! so defs do them. i would recommed doing 2unit maths as if you have failed maths in the past years, i think that with these heavy sciences, it would be too difficult to do 3u. i would also say advanced english because standard will rape your atar. dont do any of the poor scaling subjects like agriculture, hospitality, IT and industrial tech, esp. if you want to get the high atar necessary for medicine. the rest are what you are interested in!
