i recieved a preliminary offer for my 2nd preference but it was also connected to SRAS ( i think) if i accept this offer does that mean i can no longer be offered a place for my 1st preference in the main round.
They gave me 2 weeks to reply with accept decline or defer but i want to see how i go in the main round before i make a decision but i have to send it off before the main round of offers come out .
If anyone could help me it would be appreciated! if u know what im going on about lol

I think you can, this from UAC:

UAC said:
If you recieve an offer in one round and accept it, and then recieve an offer in a later round, you can choose either to:

  • keep your previous offer and not accept the new offer or;
  • withdraw from your previous offer and accept your new offer.

i believe you can accept your second preference and if you get your first preference you will still be able to accept your first pref. However, I would call the university and ask. They should be able to extend your deadline to accept your preliminary offer.
