A pair of inequalities that define the region between line k: y = -1/2x + 6 and line l: y= -1/2x - 4.

Please help :)

Have you tried graphing both lines?

So it's below line k: y = -1/2x + 6 and above line l: y= -1/2x - 4. Therefore, the inequality that defines the region is: -1/2x-4 <y < -1/2x + 6.

OR you can put it in general form and say that the general equation of line k is less than zero, and the general equation of line l is greater than zero
