HELP with Principles pleasee? (1 Viewer)

I realise that this is a very simple area of textiles & design but I'm a little fuzzy on some of the principles! =[ My t&d teacher only provided us with vague notes on proportion and balance, however, this is soooooo not enough (I feel anywho) to understand them. So I was wondering if anyone could post some summaries on what each of the principles describe/encompass?
These are the principles, that I'm aware of anywho.. Gosh hope there isn't anymore ?!!:

Proportion
Emphasis
Harmony
Balance
Rhythm
Contrast
Unity

priniciples:

Do you have the Textiles and Design Prelim & HSC textbook? You can find it in there, pages 20 - 23. It might not assess them all, though. My mum has stolen my textiles folio so I can't help you fully. Sorry
