I am doing year 11 french continuers through open high school, and i've just started the work for this year, but i've become stuck on one question!

The textbook, is noir sur blanc and the exercise is 1.5. The question i can't get is d)
and it is really driving me insane!!

it sounds like: "vous avez une petite travaf"- it's last word i just can't get.
it follows questions about family eg. do you have any bothers, what are your parents like etc.

does anyone know what the question is or any ideas??

thanks,

xx

Hmm. Have you worked it, already?

If you haven't could you have another attempt at trying to type it up phonetically. I've never heard a word such as 'travaf' but that's because I don't know that much French. :(

Is it asking if you have a job?
Sounds about right, especially in this unit.

nah if they ask that they'd probably say un petit boulot, because it's a school textbook and you wouldn't have a hardcore job.

spelling it out phonetically would maybe help? [as kittikhun said.]

Hi,

They are asking whether you have a small job (eg and after school job). the word they used was petit travail. I know this because i did that same book last year so if you have any problems fill free to ask me any time.

By the way, in noir sur blanc they do ask for petit travail as well as petit boulot

I would support what's already been said.
Can't say much more, but yes it would most likely be 'petit travail'

God Bless
