is there any cheap hi-fi systems that have incoporated hard-drives (10Gb- 20Gb) for mp3s as well as cd playback ...? not just able to play cds with mp3s

i need a new one for my room

You could just buy a cheap computer and get a decent set of speakers and soundcard :D. Actually, a modded xbox would do a good job too.

dont get an xbox .. if they dont have final fantasy games, they aint worth it !

what about somehow, plugging the laptopt that i have ( with all music) into the speakers of my existing hi-fi system?? would that work?

is there any hi-fis out there that allow u to do this??

I have that set up in my room. I have my computer output (stereo plug) going into my hifi (AV component style plug), It sounds rather neat. Just make sure your hifi has Aux inputs before buying the cable :D.
