Was just wondering, what's the highest WAM you know of, from UNSW. Can be someone you know or just heard of.

One of my friends was a low 90. The three of us went through honours class 1 together but it got him the uni medal too.

That is impressive. I'd call it a mixture of smart and effort ;)

I've heard of people maintaining low 90's in med sci after 1st year but I havent heard of anyone graduating with a 90+wam. It's certainly possible though, just takes heaps of effort.

I think its just called pure nerd...LOL.

I think there's a point where you're just trying too hard or overachieving? No offence to ppl reading this with a 90+ WAM.

Like...say you get 95 WAM....so what? You could have done your 1st preference honours with just a 85 WAM. You could have spent more time with friends, family, on holiday...but instead your spend 3 or 4 years working your arse off getting a 95 WAM. I dont think its worth it...

If you are naturally smart (i know one girl) and you get 97WAM like her then of course i have nothing to say!
