umm yeah i think so . that name rings a bell, and i remember it had some correlation with Aboriginal policies.. and now thast I think of it, I seem to remember that it was associated with protectionism.. yes.

you're pretty right i think.

Yeah, basically. The protection policy was virtually centered around the "paternalistic" attitudes of the Europeans, they felt as if it was their duty to guide the Aboriginals, tell them how to behave, etc.
