I don't remember the options but it was something along the lines of traditional customs, ownership and something around there. *sigh* to get 90%, you will need to get 45/50. I know I have made 2 MC mistakes so far. Hopefully dumb people in the state will get really low raw marks, because doesn't that mean we might get aligned up?

Okay, what were the answers to these questions... :S
2) The "statement I is true, statement II is false, etc" question... were both statements true? I hope so.
A lot of people put State I is true, Statement II is false,

BUT if you look at the question immediately after that, it asks, "What do both sources reveal? --> It showed the Moratorium Movement in Action is the most likely answer. AND, if it is the right answer, then BOTH STATEMENTS HAVE TO BE TRUE!

The sources questions are ALWAYS connected to each other. If BOTH sources reveal the Moratorium Movement, then BOTH STATEMENTS are true.

That's only my hypothesis, but I think it's very valid.

I don't think the Moratorium movement answer was the correct one, because that wasn't conclusively the Moratorium movement, it was the Save Our Sons protestors largely being shown, but just Save Our Sons alone is not the Moratorium Movement. The most correct answer would have been that it shows a range of views because it puts forwards both pro and anti vietnam war perspectives.

And on the other hand...

Statement 2 was something along the lines of everyone in the source was against the war. If that was false, and you put "it showed a range of views about the war" for the question after that, then Statement would be true, and Statement 2 false.

I'm screwed for that one. I put both, I think it was wrong. My friend pointed out to me that there was a guy who held up a sign with "Fight in Vietnam or Fight in your backyard?" I interpreted that a different way.. it's a pretty weird thought process though, so I was a bit foolish.

That's exactly what I did too. The latter is most likely correct, it seems.

Also, what was the answer to this question: which political group supported the ban of the communist party? I think the options were something like (not in the right order)

a) Australian Labor Party
b) Democratic Labor Party
c) Liberal County Party or something
d) Socialist Party of Australia

I put Australian Labor Party...

I think it was the Liberal-Country Party because during the Petrov Affair, people were accusing the Labor Party of being Communist-Sympathisers and it was Robert Menzies [I think] who was the one that made the speech to ban the CPA.

The question said Liberal Country Party, not Liberal Party. There is a difference, the Liberal Country Party is just a small party in the Northern Territory with affiliations to the Liberal Party. Plus, it was founded in 1974, way after Menzies time.

The Labor Party actually did support the bill though, in an attempt to make it seem as if they were not communist.

I'm pretty sure it was the Liberal-Country Coalition, because Menzies was Liberal and he was the one who introduced the bill.

EDIT: Hmm... you've got a point there speedofsound..
