Home Alone wasn't bad, Home Alone 2 was just a rehash and Home Alone 3 was really scraping the barrel.

The best comedy has to be "Monty Python and the Holy Grail"

Or some of Jim Carey's stuff like "Dumb and Dumber" and "Ace Ventura"(not the second one). Or "Men in Tights". Stupid humour done correctly...
