How does it work for Hospo.
over the year we've only got one mark/rank and that was for the trials
does this simply count as our assessment mark..?-
got 83% raw, rank 2/15
What kind of band am I looking at here??

in hospo the HSC final exam counts for 100% of the mark. the assessment mark and rank isnt used.

the hsc exam for hospitality accounts for 100% because it is optional. your results are provide both your uai mark for those not sitting the examination they get a competancy and a certificate II but they don't get a uai mark.
we dont have an assement mark that contributes to our score because the hsc is purely worth 100%
the trials is to give you a practice run at it and if you are sick for the hsc or are unable to go then your 100% mark is based on your trial results.
with 83% your looking at a mid range band 5, which is good

so i duno how our school is working it

if u were able 2 get 99% in trial there must be something wrong with my school due to our highest mark only being 81%

your school would be doing the same as everyone elses..

we only had the assessment mark from the trials, and like someone said, if you're sick they will use your trial mark to calculate your HSC mark
assessment marks pretty much mean crap, unless you're sick that is
so everyone is right in saying that HSC counts for your entire hospo mark

so no pressure or anything

i did, a proud 95%
