wolfmother will clean out this year obviously. they are just incredible! gyroscope are damn impressive also, but their sound is changing more towards dance rock rather than the hard hitting on sound shattering sound.

<3<3<3<3 forgot about that gyroscope song. and i like the other too, beware wolf.
forgot to mention beck - girl

doctor pressure should come close to top 10 too

Your insane, triple j barely touched that peace of cheese. Mylo only came it at number 84 with his version last year and his was excellent, so this crud redo shouldn't be in the top 1000. But judging by some songs that make the count down the triple j audience is a diverse and often spastic bunch.

I predict Wolfmother will get in the top 10 (no real suprise), so will one of the White Stripes shit new songs. The irritating Ben Lee and his irritating songs will be in there. A wild card for top 10 may be the Herd's cover of I was only 19.
You heard it here first and if none of this eventuates then you didn't hear nuthin *fist shakin*

i only mentioned mylo coz it has the commercial hype to get it there. same with ben lee. forgot all about the herd's cover, which was immensely popular.

Neighborhood #3 (Power Out) - Arcade Fire
Wishbone - Architecture In Helsinki
Like Eating Glass - Bloc Party
The Car Song - Cat Empire
Sunny Road - Emiliana Torrini
Do You Want To - Franz Ferdinand (ought to do well, this one)
Why Do You Love Me - Garbage

Anywhere - Sophie Koh (hoping she does well)

Just missed out: Sufjan Stevens, Datarock, Kaiser Chiefs, Beck, Goldfrapp, Sons and Daughters, The Bedroom Philosopher

Btw, about Ben Lee, his latest album is, contrary to forum beliefs, actually quite decent. And Catch My Disease is a great pop song. Catchy and optimistic. I ain't about to disown it completely just cos it's been overplayed on commercial radio.

theyre the only band to be in top 100 every year for past 10 years, (15 songs in total) and now lets make it 11...
