You must be my long lost identical twin. Same Atar, didn't study profusely, disappointed mum and a high performing sister (My sister got 99.8 and 2 state ranks)

At some of you: yes i know you want to impress your parents/ guardians. However, you shouldn't have been doing it for them, it's for yourself. Some parents need to understand, the HSC is a lot more difficult than what they did whether it be something else or the HSC.

And im sick of this "Asian parent" stereotype. God they are not strict, ffs. T

what yes they are. but then again mine only expected id get 90. exceeded that by a fair bit

Indifference all around, turned out they were more anxious about how to tell their family friends.
They solved that problem by pretending to them that i got 98.xx

:)
