idk I just remembered this:

first add NaCl:
if you get a precipitate it's either lead or silver
add NaOH and you will either get brown or white ppt --> brown is silver

otherwise after adding NaCl you have no ppt, take a fresh sample and add NaOH
Cu2+ is blue --> the 'oo' sound is the same lol
Fe2+ is green --> the 'ee' sound is the same
Fe3+ is brown because it's shit
white is a few different ones so you just do flame test and I sent you that memo on the other thread lmao
uh yeah idfk

this is bad

OKAY now for anions

1) add HNO3 to check for carbonate --> bubbles
2) add AgNO3
- if cream --> bromine
- if brown --> hydroxide
- if yellow --> iodine or phosphate --> add Ba2+ to check for Barium Phosphate precipitate
- if white --> chlorine or sulphate or acetate --> add Ba2+ to check for Barium Sulphate --> add Iron to check for acetate (red brown)

BAM BOOM SOMEONE CONFIRM THIS

Just keep it simple
I did flame test for the cation
And I forgot what method I used for anion but I think I just used one chemical

also how is iron nitrate and acetate a ppt isn’t accent soluble
And how is chloride not insoluble with iro

Iron acetate is a red ppt scroll up to the start of this thread ✨

Also I realised I could just do a flame test afterwards lol
