I wouldn't say that.. If you ask any of the year 12's or guys at university, its not impossible.. I was talking to a family friend who teaches at Birrong Girls (which is similarly ranked), and there have been people who have put in a lot effort and got UAI's 90 +.

Exactly. It'll be even rarer if you approach your next 2 years with that attitude.. Anything can happen in the next 2 years.

if you rank 1st for everything 99+ is possible! it just depends alot on your performance in externals.

but if you're thinking negatively before you even start years 11 and 12, you're definitely screwed.

I think you're forgetting that your school's rank isn't everything.
If you're school ranked first, and you did bad, then you would still get a low UAI.
It depends on you and how you perform. :/
