How do you apply lip-liner? (1 Viewer)

I've decided to do my own make-up for my formal (considering I've already spent too much!)

How do you apply lip liner so that you can't see the haze or rim around your lips?

I never normally wear the stuff.

Can anyone help?

you put on lipstick first, and then lip liner over it, cos then when ur lipstick comes off, the lip liner comes off with it, leaving no line. if ur putting on lip gloss, do the liner after gloss!

If youre going to put liner first, line the lips then sort of blend it into the main part of your lips so you get an even colour.. also buy the liner that matches your lipstick otherwise it might look a bit wrong...

then again if yo never wear it.. why start now?!

It's not really the same colour, 'couldn't get one that was!

So, should I put the liner on before or after lip stick?

After is safer- u can kinda use it to fix any mistakes with the lipsticks u know??

i was just thinkin- do a test of what ur going to do now b4 ur foraml, so that on the nite u don't make any mistakes with ur make up. u should test now whether lip liner after is going to work for u, but that's how i would do it! do a test run of everything- at least then ur sure that u can do it!

year 12 student - this is best technique

firstly exfoliate your lips gently with a soft toothbrush and warm water.
dab your lips dry
outline them in lip liner, then also fill them in with lip liner (this way when the lipstick fades off you dont see a line ). after this apply lipstick to top and bottom, dont rub your lips together!!
then put lipgloss on top.

best technique.

i m not a fan of fish... so that just makes me feel icky in the stomach!!!!
