How do you continue to pay attention when your teacher is boring you to death? (1 Viewer)

What are your methods of staying awake during a boring lecture so you don't miss out on anything that might be important?

Would you recommend recording lectures onto tape (I go to a TAFE, so it's a bit less....rowdy)?

chem teacher bores me to death.
i stop listening to him... then i ask questions and he tells me i just said that 2 minutes ago, were you even listening?
but yeh i have pretty much self taught myself for chem even though i hate it so much and don't have a tutor for it.

For me, I'm dropping the subject (eco). With physics i'm changing teachers. YEW!
