how does ext2 math and english work? (1 Viewer)

hey guys i was just wondering if anyone knew how your atar is calculated/what actual subjects you do in y12 if you take ext2 math compared to ext2 english.
i may do ext2 english but im definetly not considering doing ext2 maths, i was curious as to how it all works.

basically is it if you do ext2 maths in y12 you only sit the ext1 and ext2 tests/do those classes and don't take advanced math at all?
if so, it is the same for ext2 english or not? i.e. you only take the ext1 and ext2 classes and not advanced so you only sit the ext1 test and submit your major work for ext2

No, if you take ext 2 english, you'll have to sit the advanced english hsc as well.
The reason why ext 2 maths excludes the advanced math hsc is because ext 2 math students are expected to get band 6 in it so NESA deems it unnecessary
