Talk about mary warren’s nervous tone, the syntax and the imagery of the whole world crying spirits. This showcases how hysterical/fearful mary warren is and she is representing the majority of salem at the time as a commoner herself linking to human experience of hysteria. As for superstition u can explain how during the 1600s puritanism, the superstition was that anything bad that happened was because of spirits and this quote clearly shows that
