How long does it take you to get to uni via pub transport?

It takes about an hour for me to drive it, I wouldnt have a clue by public transport, probably easy double that.

It takes me around 1 hr to get to uni if i catch a bus... it takes me around 50minz if i catch a train then a bus...

Its going to take me about 50 minutes.... depending on the train.
I catch the train to lidcombe which the bankstown line only goes to every half hour or so if on time and then either walk or bus it to uni. at enrollment it took us about 45 minutes to get there by 8:20 and some of my lectures start earlier than that

Takes me approx hour and a half, including dropped down to main bus stop, 1 hour bus ride to city, then another bus to unsw.

I live 9 - 10 hours drive from Uni. But thats because i haven't moved down yet. :p

I will live <30 minutes, though when i get there.

i live in wollongong and i'll be travelling up to UTS...

it'll be anywhere between 1-2 hours on the train...

i can't wait till i get to move up...the travel times are gonna kill me...

If I plan my trip rite and public transport doesnt screw up:

10-15 minutes walk to train station - 5 minutes waiting - 35-40 minutes train travel - 10-15 minutes by bus to USyd from Redfern or Central[including waiting]


...so about 1 hr - 1 hr and 15 minutes.

dat's if I plan it rite.

if i get a lift it'll take me 10-15mins to get to uni
public transport 10 min walk to the station 20mins on the train and however long it takes to get to the cumberland campus after that
but if i MISS the train i'll have to wait half an hour for the next one

Hmm I think I travel the least out of the posters not living on campus.

2 minute walk to Epping Station bus stop, 7 min bus ride to Macquarie Uni.

usually about 1/2 an hour in my sexy new car... over an hour on the train.. almost 2 hours on the bus
