is this the best part of physics or what. It's just like a bio thing...there's no complex stuff to understand (like in stupid m&g) you can just memorise it all....oh i love stuff like this
go astro!
hmm maybe cos i do cosmo it helps but still i think it's the easiest option

i didn't want to do it -i really wanted to do medical physics. But, as we progress further, its not that bad. It seems pretty easy, i'm like you, i love memorising stuff for my marks.

I would have enjoyed it more if it wasn't so superficial, but that's the HSC course for you :p

Also, it would have been better if the syllabus also focused on other features of the universe such as the big bang theory and the like (but then it would be quite the same as the cosmic engine. My teacher was away when we were learning the cosmic engine, so I barely learnt anything).

But it was interesting. :)

How far into astrophysics are you guys ? approx how many lessons/weeks do you think it takes to do the entire topic ? have you all done the other 3 topics ?
my class has just finished the 3 topics, and we are starting astro first day term 3

i wanted to do quanta to quarks initally but then i would have to change classes and be stuck with a teacher who i don't like.

In the end, astro was really easy stuff, almost revision from prelim space topic

I didn't like this option and never fully understood it. The fact we learnt it in 3 weeks or so didn't help either lol.

As if, I really would have liked anything else. Don't have much of a liking for space related science. Quantum to quarks looks heaps interesting!
