Not that hard, the amount you need to remember is annoying

For me probably the easiest subject I did in the HSC. Didn't regret a second of it.

But everyone is different and what you find hard may not be hard for another person and vice versa.

Prelim bio is difficult because it was so boring, I didn't even listen in class and hence I struggled.

However hsc biology was a lot more interesting (imo) so I enjoyed studying and hence I found the subject prettt easy

Year 11 Bio is a bit boring, but easy if you listen in class.
Year 12 is more interesting, and no harder.

I don't know, I actually thought the opposite. I loved all of my Prelim subjects but the HSC course is super duper boring and annoying. I wish they'd swapped it around. For bio, it gets more complicated for the HSC (well obviously) and I found Prelim to be quite similar to the stuff we'd learnt in Science from prior years, just with more detail. There's a crap load of content to remember. Doing the Blueprint of Life right now and I don't understand >< That's just me though, you might find it to be easier.

I don't find the content of bio an issue in HSC, I found other subs more content heavy. But I have a good memory and genuinely found at least the Yr 12 course interesting :p For it to be my best subject, the amount of work didn't feel like work because of the pure enjoyment factor.

Blueprint was defs my fave, close with communication, then mab and then sfbh. (sfbh immuno part is great, it just has too many washy dotpoints)

That said, if I did the genetics option, that would have been my fave. The evolutionary option is pretty interesting as well.

biology is easy, until you get to the HSC, where the marking criteria will kill you.

One really has to know the verbs and the structure of how to answer in HSC biology well.

I think knowing what to do with the verbs 'Evaluate' and 'Assess' were most key to my success :)
