Hey guys, I need a minimum of 76 for my course, I would however like an 85 to get into a better one. I was wondering how realistic a 76 is. I do Advanced English, General maths, Legal studies, PDHPE and Modern Hisotry. My assessment was pretty consistently above 90% and my trials results were as follows:
- Eng 87%
- Maths 88%
- Legal 84%
- PDHPE 80%
- Modern 89%
However, my school is only ranked 581 XD, any thoughts?

try using an atar calculator! they're pretty accurate (but not 100%) at estimating but it only takes into consideration your marks and not your school ranking or cohort so that might affect it too

Its also worth noting that the average ATAR should be 50.00, but in reality it generally hovers around 70.00. In 2014 the average was 68.95, so basically if you are above average in your subjects, you should be fine.

Bonus points (Or adjustment factors) can also be useful, and due to the low rank of your school its possible that your school is on a SO1D or a SO1E list, which means an extra 5 bonus points

Assuming your school marks to an HSC standard then it certainly looks possible.

Is it a 76 or 85 that looks possible? also would a 90 be out of the question?
