i do english standard but im not very good at it to say the least...
i can easily pump all my other subjects (see sig.) and get 85+ in them, but not english.

will it really affect my hsc if i get 60 in the final scaled mark?

Don't neglect it.

Even though it's 1/5 of your ATAR its the most important.

You're also doing standard which makes it harder but you just need to get on top of it.

Fuck English to hell,

It is killing me Too, it may even prevent me from getting to med.
