In terms of the businesses I work with (Banking and Finance Sector) the well regarded universities for NSW include

• UNSW
• USyd
• Macquarie
• UTS

I've heard recently that respect for the commerce degree at USyd is much lower than it used to be. UNSW>Macq>USyd>UTS.
But it depends on the person, and also the major/electives you choose.
