7 periods a day
45 min each and by the time the teacher turns up they end up being 35-40min

except on thursdays when we have 5 periods at 37min each

Six periods on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. 50 minute periods.
Five periods on Tuesday. 50 minute periods.
Four periods on Thursday from 8:55 - 12:30 to accommodate sport. 45 minute periods.

mine go for 51 mins. 6 periods a day. two 33min breaks however it used to be 5 periods running at 61 mins each. it was a bit hard getting used to the shorter times and not going home at the end of fifth period

that seems weird now that i think of it, works great for free periods though

So that's 8 x 40 min periods a day (excluding morning classes)
Recess = 20 mins
Lunch = 40 mins

But we usually have about three/two doubles throughout the day.

We get half a day off when sport is on, and we also get to go home a period early on another day.

it works well for me, i like the variation of short and long periods in a day, and across subjects.

We have 5 one hour periods for junior/non offline students.
start at 8:15 finish at 2:30. awesome.

I do offline, so every Tuesday finish start at 8:15, finish at 4:30 and every Wednesday start at 8:15 finish at 3:30.

Get 5 free periods a fortnight - not including business studies when half the time our teacher forgets about our class and just doesnt rock up - yet some how still got 90% on my assignment.... haha, go figure.

our school divides the day up in 3 periods
before recess, before lunch and after lunch
Every day we have 3 classes that fit into each of those, and they go for about 1hr 50 each
