I do 2U and in the trials, I did my maths test and finished with around an hour to go (minus q10). You can say that I rush through the whole paper, but I would spend the last hour to go over the whole test again to look for any mistakes and obviously finish the last question. I did pretty good and this was done by constantly working through past papers with this specific time management. Idk, it works for me but it might work for others too.

As a 2/3u student, a 3u paper tends to take me1:30 - 1:40, whilst 2:00 for 2u

lol q.1 in about 3 or 4 minutes but defs finishe q.1-8 within an hour

then you have 30 minutes to focus on q.9-10 and shit tons of time to check your answers

takes me around 2 hours 45 minutes to read all the questions in extension 2 maths and have a decent go at attempting them

General - can do a past paper in 1 - 1.5 hours with 95+/100. I'll definitely be using the full 2.5 hours on tuesday to check and recheck every single question.

During trials I only just finished with about 10-15 minutes left. Made so many stupid mistakes. All the marks I lost were from stupid mistakes except for a part of a question or two. I even copied an entire question down wrong (the equations and whatever). I got 103/120 though, but damn that test felt like such a rush. Now it takes me around 2 hours to finish it, so that's a massive improvement for me.

Yeah, aiming for band 5/6. Hoping that question 10 isn't monstrous tomorrow.

Maths Extension 2 = The full 3 Hours, including quite a few Qs being missed, most concentrated on Q7-8
Maths Extension 1 = 1 Hour 25 Minutes but spending the last minutes doing maybe 2-4 questions skipped previously, so all up maybe 1 hour 40.
