How many 4unit students at your school? (1 Viewer)

Just curious as to the number of 4 unit students at various schools out there.

At Gosford High there are 39.

Our class has only 25. But we're selective, so we should be . hehe. Our Trial results came in, and we have 3 people 20 marks above everyone else. They are like 86, 90/ 120. With the most students around 60, then a small bunch down at about 40. But I guess thats just normal. (RAW MARKS)

We only have 5 4-unit students this year but last year there was over 20 students.

I guess we must be a dumb group.

We've got 28~30 at Hurlstone i think.

There's the top cream students.

Then a rather large drop... to the kids who i think shouldn't be doing 4u in the first place.

Those have been steadily dropping over the past year, so we're done from 50 to 30 or so. The marks have been improving.. so the gap between top and last has been getting smaller.

there is 1 girl....got 86% in the cath.trial..omg

then the rest of us..around the 60%..

no one passed the catholic trial... taking out question 6 and replacing one of the volumes questions... top mark was 45/105

and you people are getting 60s on average and higher...

I think I may aswell die now

only 9 in my school, and 2 of them accelerated (im one of them )

the highest in my class that got cath. trial was only around 60% or something...

and i only got 46%

Well seing as my school is non-selective, we had 6 students at the start but then two dropped so now there is 4 of us

No, not everyone in ruse's good at maths

They had 110 apply for 4unit, but they limit the number to 75.

hmm...i kno i'd feel shitted if i was capable and applied for 4u and was one of the 35 who missed out...

no, it was becos they were afraid if some not-so-good ppl did it it would scale everyone's internal marks down.

Yeh, some ppl applied, and then dropped out a fortnight later, yet the maths dept didn't bother replacing the dropouts, and some who really wanted to get in din because the yr11 3u yrly was so blody hard. Like the top mark was 86% or somethin...i can't remember...

Three in my class, and i'm coming 3rd last (u can figure that out ).

There was four be4, but sum1 dropped it (the pressure got to him).
