How many classes does everyone here get of 4 unit a week?
i only get 3X40 min lessons a week. be awesome to get more

Yeah, it depends on the week. One week get 80 mins, and the next week we get 160 minutes. And its a class of four, so its pretty much quiet most of the time.

Depends, we have 10 x 80 minute periods a fortnight, so if we're on a 4unit topic, we do the whole 10 periods.

We have the same class/teache for 4unit

Lessons are overated, my class spent half of ours doing exercises (which could have been done at home)

We have 5 50 min classes for ext 2 each fortnight, and we usuallu dont do the exercises in class, they are homework because we just have the teacher explaining stuff and doing examples as a class during lessons

yeah we only have 2 ppl in our 4 unit class.
and our lessons are spent on theory and we have to do the excercises at home.
we went through half the theory for integration this week
pretty hectic

Holy fuck.

We've done complex, and just started conics. But in our 3u integration, we did some 4u volume integration..

But god dam, 3/8 of your topics are done. Fuck me.

Complex numbers, polynomials and curve sketching nearly done. Starting conics soon. We can barely do any calculus in the 4u course 'cause we haven't done* that much differentiation and integration in 2u yet

Hah, that must be really weird, knowing how to do 4U topics but barely knowing 2U calculus.

Anyway, we have 8 x ~55-ish minute lessons a week. Thats for both 3U and 4U.

yeah we do barely any exercises in class...its mostly examples + explaining
we can't do a few things coz we haven't learnt them in 2/3 unit
its kinda hectic..the rate that we're going at but term 3 and a bit of 2 will be spent on papers + revision so im kinda coping atm
imo, 4 unit is easier than 3

We have 12 40 minute periods per 6 days, which equals 6h40min on average per week.

have done trig, complex and integration.

But there are 70 kids doing 4U at my school so there is plenty of help if u need it.
