not really. you can tell the difference using earphones between an .mp3 (128~96kbit) and a .wav file. it's harder though with 192kbit mp3 files - you'd need good quality speakers for that.

That's not really that much (I know, I know, I've only got 5GB...). But still, it's not uncommon for people to have 100+GB of music; several people I know from another forum have at least that much music, if not more.
