how many hours a week do you put into extension 1.

i dont think ive been doing enough, i might start doing 1 hour a day + 3 past papers per week, is that good ?? or should i do more

I do whatever needs to be done, nothing extra in particular unless there is an assessment or something like that. I think if you focus too much on hours/ time periods spent it detracts from the actual effectiveness of the study undertaken.

15 a day. but at exam time maybe 45 minutes the day before.

when i used to do it i did whatever homework we had to do & then just studied for assessments & stuff.
personally, studying for ext 1 took me forever. like id study for like 2hrs & still not get anywhere it sucked! haha.
so i dropped

If your talking about study (work outside of school) then I suppose like 4 hrs a week which includes tuition and doing a past paper as well. As the above said tho, theres really no need to spend much time as long as you understand the concepts. Overloading yourself with past papers will just drain you mentally and effect your other subs.

When I did it, i never really had time to study. It would just be doing any h/w i had (which was never really much since i did it in class) and then cramming the night before an exam, though maths isn't really a subject you need to cram for - its more skills than knowledge-ish (leaving out circle geo and stuff like that).

i do nothing for mx1 except 1 or 2 past paper the day b4 exam LOL.... but i spend 3hr+ a day on ext 2 math....
