I was just wondering how many, on average, people are in Ext 2 at your school each year. For me, on average, every year about 2 people do extension 2! TWO!

Don't worry. On average around 1000-1500 students do Ex2 each year.

Mine: 9. Expected to have 3 by the end of last term but since 6 of them have only 10u after dropping IPT (lolz), we have 9 now.

I only have 2 at my school.
i like the small clas much better because we dont have to wait for other people
so we can go through the course at a fair pace

I totally agree, in this case, the smaller the class, the better.

Well, being a country school, with a small boys side and a large girls side, you'd think there'd be maybe 10 who did it.

Only me and two other guys... The only girl dropped out because she was cornered for a while with 15 units after the start of Term 4.

Just 2.
I can't imagine teaching EE2 to 40+ kids. Do you get to talk to your teacher in depth?

That brings up another question: what are your EE2 classes like? At my school my friend and I are teh only ones who do it and we have 2 periods a week with our teacher to talk about it/research/write or do whatever. Its pretty casual and we can talk about it pretty easily so its not too bad.

^40+ kids doing ext doesn't mean they were all in the same class lol they'd be divided up in to classes of around 25 or less like any other subject

i think there were around 45-50ish people doing ext 2 at my school last year who were split up into 3 classes. there were about 15 in my class which was perfectly fine, but we could also organise to come see our teacher during a set lunch time if we needed extra one on one help

EDIT: @ your.knee

At my school there are 3, except 2 of them are only in year 11 (they were excelled). I'm the only person actually in year 12 this year at my school doing ext 2 but I'm ok with that.
