I prefer small class sizes. I like that you get that little bit extra attention from the teacher and they have the time to sit down and go through stuff with you.

One class?

Yep, and one person in it:

Me.

I was taught one-on-one with the French teacher.

Then he verbally abused me (was yelling swear words at me) in front of an assembly of people and I was allowed to study it on my own just because I was darn good at it.

Also, my French class has 5 people in it.

There are 168 people in my grade.

Yeah it is, HX1 & EX1 were reasonably popular this year at my school but its nothing compared to last year when the smallest extension class was ext 2 english with 10 ppl even ext 2 maths had 11 people (only one this year).

Three people in one class and there are still two other classes ?!

Where's the logic in that?
Our school stuffed up the lines BADLY when we chose subjects in year 10, so they needed three lines of english classes.
There were 15 in my class at the beginning of yr 11, but others dropped down/left the school/changed subjects and thus affected the line etc.

180ish in the year

Adv English - 18 (4 classes)
Maths 2U/3U - 18 (3 classes of 2U)
PDHPE - 23 (3 classes)
Biology - 15 (3 classes)
Food Tech - 3 (through distance ed)

I definitely prefer having classes with under 20 people. You get through the content so much faster. For Food Tech, with the three of us we all work together but I would rather have more people so we could get a teacher :)

That's a bit for a rural school. How rural are you...?

There are about 37 in my grade. Small and tight.

my year has probs... around 70? no less than 60, no more than 80 anyway ha.

adv english - 34 (but thats the total of two classes, coz they gave us our ranks like that)
physics - 10
adv maths - 13
business - 13
ancient - 18
drama - 13

a lot of those classes used to be bigger, but heaps of people dropped stuff, especially business, we used to have 2 classes of about 22 each lol.

but i prefer smaller classes definitely.
